Valor Story
Valor’s Story
Owner and president of Valor Automotive, Dustin Zeck, has always had the automotive industry in his blood, and has spent most of his life leading dealership operations. His grandfather owned a Dodge dealership, and his father owned a Ford dealership, so it only made sense for Dustin to follow in the family business and continue in a world he was both familiar with and passionate about. Dustin was first introduced to the property that is now Valor Automotive by a friend. He was instantly impressed by both the building and the surrounding area, and he was excited to be in the new and wonderful community of Junction City, Kansas. In his own words, the property and timing “just made sense” in his life.
It took a long six months after the purchase of the property to prepare the dealership to open for business, as Dustin had to find the right people to put together his team, do some renovations, and make plans for how his business would run. All of the hard work invested by Dustin and his team finally payed off when the doors got to officially open to our valued customers on January 23, 2020.
Even with the doors open for business, there was still a lot of work to do to really get started as everyone worked to iron out the little details and build a strong and positive reputation for Valor. Dustin wanted to establish Valor Automotive in the community as a business that wants nothing more than to serve that community as if they were family, and for everyone to know that every time you deal with this dealership, you can be certain that everything you are being told is the truth and that everything we do will be done with integrity. The dealership got off to an amazing start and continues to push the concept of integrity in all of our everyday services and interactions.
However, the opening of Valor was not without its challenges. Being a brand-new business in the area meant starting completely from scratch. Not only that, but Valor Automotive, like all businesses this year, had to fight to survive the Coronavirus pandemic. The virus threatened Valor just as it threatened many small privately owned business, but thanks to the hard work of our outstanding team, the support from our wonderful community, and the necessity of vehicles, Valor managed to not only survive, but thrive through the pandemic.
Dustin Zeck and the entire team at Valor Automotive will always continue to serve our amazing community with integrity and hard work. You can be sure that when you purchase a vehicle through Valor Automotive that you will be treated with the best service, get the best deal, get to choose from the highest quality vehicles, and deal with an entire team of people who are Driven By Integrity.
