The All-New 2022 Ford F-150 is an entirely new Ford truck, making it the 14th generation of Ford trucks. It is undisputedly one of the most popular trucks in the United States. 1975 saw the debut of Ford's sixth-generation of pickup trucks, the F-150, which would go on to forever alter the course of the truck manufacturing industry.


The 2022 Ford F-150 Specs

The All-New 2022 Ford F-150 is one of the latest pickup trucks to be unveiled by Ford. 50. The new Ford truck, like its predecessor, is powered by a 3.0L Power Stroke Diesel engine. That helps produce 250 horsepower, 440 pound-feet of torque, and a total towing strength and capacity of 12,100 pounds.


The option of going with EcoBoost V6 and Coyote 5.0L for their F-150 is still available for the customers and the efficient and robust PowerBoost hybrid.  The All-New 2022 Ford F-150 come is a variety of colors: Agate Black Metallic, Antimatter Blue Metallic, Carbonized Gray Metallic, Iconic Sliver Metallic, Oxford White, Stone Gray Metallic, and Race Red. There is a new option in Atlas Blue Metallic, however, Kodiak Brown, Lead Foot, and Guard are no longer color options available with the All-New Ford Ford F-150.


8 Trim Levels to Choose From

The All-New 2022 Ford F-150 provides eight different trim levels to choose from when it comes to trim levels. But no matter the trim level you choose, you will get all the satisfaction and efficiency you are looking for in a Ford F-150.


2022 Ford F-150 XL

The first in the trim list is the Ford F-150 XL comes with a 3.3L Ti-VCT V6 engine that offers a strong performance with a horsepower of 290 and torque of 265 lb.-ft. The vehicle comes with easy fuel (capless fuel filler) mechanism, automatic high beam lights, and seating space for 6.

Stand out features

  • 8-inch Capacitive Touchscreen: This infotainment center helps you connect to your route and enhances your interior capability and productivity. With the inclusion of Sync 4, all you need will be right at your fingertips.

  • Dynamic Hitch Assist: Another standout feature of the new Ford F-150 XL is its rear-view camera that offers the service of Dynamic Hitch Assist. This added functionality will provide you with a better view of what’s behind, without you having to crane your neck outside and warrant a neck sprain.


2022 Ford F-150 XLT

The engine specification of the XLT is the same as XL. However, it has a 4*2 drive, unlike the RWD drive with XL.

Stand-out features

  • Blind Spot Information System: The Blind Spot information System provided Trailer Tow Coverage and offers added insurance while on the road.

  • Grille Black Two-Bar style: This Grille stands out with its chrome surround and black accents.


2022 Ford F-150 Lariat

This specific trim level has a 2.7L engine that delivers a horsepower of 325 and torque of 400lb-ft with a PFDI system and twin inter-cooled turbochargers for more power as and when required.

  • 12-inch digital productivity screen: display for more dynamic driving and more productivity on the inside and the outside.

  • Voice Recognition: The Lariat trim also comes with a SYNC 4 with enhanced voice recognition, which you can quickly and seamlessly integrate into your smartphone.


Ford F-150 King Ranch

The King Ranch comes with a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine that gives you the performance strength of 400 horsepower and 410 lb.-ft of torque. The King Ranch has a payload rating of approximately 3,325 lbs.

Stand-out features

  • Olufsen sound system: The state-of-the-art Bang and Olufsen sound system for more power and clarity and superior entertainment.

  • Leather-Trimmed Heated Seats: All seats have a flow-through console, leather-trimmed cover, heated second-row leather, and shifter wrapped with leather.


2022 Ford F-150 Platinum

The Platinum trim, like the King Ranch, comes with a 5.0L Ti-VCT V8 engine and the same payload rating of approx. 3,325 lbs. It is equipped with the standard 4*2 drive with 4*4 drive coming as optional.

  • Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist 2.0: includes intersection assist, evasive steering assist, intelligent adaptive cruise control, and a built-in navigation system with connectivity.

  • 20-inch polished aluminum wheels


2022 Ford F-150 Limited

The Limited level trim is equipped with a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine and a 10-speed automatic gearbox, which help deliver 400 horsepower and 500lb.-ft. of torque to the wheels. Ford F-150 Limited has the highest payload of all the trims, with an approximate towing rate of 14,000 lbs. The Limited has the highest payload of all the trims.

  • Pro Power Onboard 7.2k W.: This feature with a massive 7.2k W output will turn your F-150 into a generator.


2022 Ford F-150 Tremor

Same as the Ford F-150 Limited, the Tremor is also equipped with a The Limited level trim with a 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine with a 10-speed transmission that boasts of horsepower of 400, and a torque of 500lb.-ft. and shares the same payload rating of 14,000lbs.

Stand-out features

  • 18-inch Aluminum Wheels: These wheels come with a Dark Matte Finish give the vehicle force and additional ground clearance.

  • Built for Off-Roading: The Tremor is built for off-road driving. The engineering in this trim level manufacturing makes this version of the F-150 more off and rough-road friendly.


2022 Ford F-150 Raptor

In the Ford F-150 Raptor, the 3.5-liter twin-turbo HO EcoBoost with PFDI (Port-Fuel and Direct-Injection) engine has 24 valves housed under the hood.  A 10-speed transmission is available as an option on the truck. The whopping 450 horsepower and 510 lb.-ft. of torque produced by this engine results from all of these engine specifications.

Stand-out features

  • 5-link rear suspension: The Raptor comes with a 5-link rear suspension with a Panhard rod and 24-inch coil springs, which is the longest in the class.

  • Sport-Tuned Shock Absorbers: The largest-ever shocks in the form of Sport-Tuned Shock Absorbers and the next generation Fox internal bypass shocks with Live Valve Technology.
